Robert Vignoli

Robert Vignoli

Do you have post-operative scar tissue or muscle adhesions from past injuries? Robert’s advanced technique utilizes trigger point therapy to remove these muscular conditions. He co-owns RPM Therapy, located near Santana Row in San Jose.

A tight muscle is like a light bulb that stays on when you switch it off. It's “on” continuously, contracted, working even when it should be at rest.

A weak or faulty muscle is like switching a light on and having it flicker. Weak muscles never work properly when asked to.

At the end of the day, how you feel physically will most likely be what you feel emotionally about yourself. Whether you are an athlete, a weekend warrior or a corporate executive, scar tissue and muscle adhesions removal can set you free physically and emotionally. Scar tissue can manifest in anyone. It doesn’t take surgery for you to have scar tissue.

Robert takes a lot of pride in his massage work and his clients are always rewarded by these efforts. He knows just where to press and how much pressure to use. By reading your body he can address muscles you did not even know were sore. Deep muscle therapy incorporating trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage is his specialty. His love for massage and his business instincts has led him to build a massage business model that he sees as a unique business opportunity. He also started a massage therapy blog called “Think Diagonal”. This blog provides information on the massage business and interesting topics on the benefits of massage therapy.

In 2006, Robert began researching internet marketing strategies for websites. He also started a social community website for local massage therapists. His newest website, “The Professional Bodyworker”, is coming in the fall of 2008. It will sell his informational eBooks to the massage community. His eBooks give insights to other massage therapists and service business owners on how he markets his massage business. The eBooks will also explain where he thinks the money will be in the massage industry in the next 10 years and how to capitalize on it. Robert also writes monthly articles and blog posts for a national massage magazine.

Robert graduated from Silicon Valley College in Fremont. He has been in the industry since 1998, working with everyone from athletes and movie stars to corporate executives. In settings such as health clubs, chiropractic and physical therapy clinics and some of the most exclusive spas in the Bay Area, he has addressed a wide range of conditions. Robert has worked with physical conditions and injuries like sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome/RSI, post trauma, post operative surgery and liposuction patients.

His background includes working as a personal trainer and as a physical therapist assistant. Robert has worked with the Oakland Raiders players and cheerleaders as well as the San Jose Sharks organization. Because of Robert’s many interests, he only takes selected clients. You may not always find him on the schedule, but if you want to book an appointment with him, please call Doreen at (408) 726-2363 for Robert’s availability.
